  3. We, in return, want to thank you Deana and Keith for the effort and great idea to put such a useful website together. It is not easy to make it work with such a huge database, but you managed wonderful.
I just got my company's data (Sound View AFH) in Senior Life Guide the other day, and I liked how easy was to access in the system and how helpful Keith was on the phone.

Thanks again, and let's hope it will work great for all.

  5. Are Senior housing referral websites a good thing?

As we developed Senior Life Guide, I have noticed a lot of
other, large national "referral" companies. Deana Fountain the
President of Senior Life Guide and myself asked these
questions in the designing of the Senior Life Guide business
    model and website.

    1. Is it good For the Seniors?
    2. Is it good for the Seniors family?
    3. Is it Good for the Senior businesses we help?
    4. Will we provide a needed service to the Senior industry?
    5. Can we offer a helpful, unique and better Senior service?

After answering yes to the above questions. We did our
research on whether referral sites are a good thing. Here is
what we think referral sites add to the value of the
    Senior industry.

Having a successful Senior housing referral site makes a lot
of sense - since so many baby boomers are about to retire -
    many of whom may be
considering Senior housing. One referral to a Senior housing
facility for a qualified "lead" (a person genuinely interested in
finding Senior housing for him/herself or
a loved one) could end up earning the person who generated
the lead a good income, but also the self satisfaction of
placing a Senior in the right home.

Does it sound greedy? Well not really. At Senior Life
Guide.com we care about the well being of the potential
"client" over the number of dollars. We will place
Medicare and Medicaid clients for free. We are not merely
interested in how many referral fees we can make. Our
President Deana Fountain has over 10 years
experience in elder care. We can ask or answer any of the
important questions that come up. Also we don't hound the
family or senior by phone, mail and e-mail after
the lead is received. We just want to offer a good match for the
    person/persons interested.
We do get paid for placements by the Senior housing facility -
but in this day and age, who doesn't collect a fee for their
services and expertise? Senior Life Guide.com delivers the advising and expertise that most families need -without misleading them into a bad situation, the wrong facility, or into an unreasonable contract.

We offer a helpful service and qualified advice, and can do much
of the groundwork for Seniors. We believe we provide a valuable service for FREE to Seniors and their
family. Finding and researching assisted living is an emotional
and confusing process, and most of the time, people genuinely do need help somewhere along the
    way.

Here are some of our tips when you are researching Senior
housing facilities on the web - especially when you come
across a site that asks you to give them
personal information phone numbers, e-mails etc. (most likely
a referral site): Find a privacy policy and read it. It will tell you what information they collect, and how they use it. If they don't have a privacy policy - don't bother.

Make sure you can opt-out (remove your information from their database) Ask them what qualifications they have in Senior care. Find out if they sell your information.

We would love to hear your feedback if you have used a
Senior housing referral site before. Please use our blog or
contact us form at our website
http://www.seniorlifeguide.com and let us know if you have
had a good or a bad experience! For other information on

  6. We have had another amazing week. This has been such a week. Speaking to folks all over the US. We seem to have the same goals and mostly the same opinion on the industry we all work so hard at. I know we are going to make a huge difference. Our mission is not just financial gain. So with that said, our goal is helping those who need help. OUR SENIORS,and those who assist them with decisions and trying to do their level best in taking the best possible care of them. They deserve the best and it is up to us as an industry to make sure we provide the best. It has sincerely been wonderful talking with everyone. Remember the most important rule, my number one, take care of you so you can take care of them. God Bless.

  7. I want to Thank everyone that welcomed Keith into their homes this last week. You were all so kind and flexable. He had a lovely time visiting many in the Bothell, Lynnwood, Bellvue,Issaquah, and Shoreline area. It is so nice to have faces with names and knowing what each home is like. We only had a few that did not meet qualifications. So it was a great sucess and we thank you.
I hope each of you take at least 15 min. each day to hear the silence of your heart and give yourselves a well deserved breath of quiet. God Bless and Thank you for all you do each day to help care for our seniors whom are so in need of those who love and care for them.
    Deana

  8. As some of you know Keith has been out meeting our clients visiting their homes, taking pictures and visiting with owners getting to put faces with names. How wonderful of him is that. I wish it was me instead but, as most of you know I have my own AFH to run and can not travel freely like Keith. So welcome him in so I can hear all about each of you and see the wonderful pictures of your homes. All of you have been so wonderful. Thank you and God Bless, Deana

  11. It is 4:00 am and I am listening to the wind rustling the new leaves on the trees, and thinking of all of you. Life has been a real wirlwind lately. Keith is working non stop and I am trying to hang on it is not easy since as you all know how much work it is to run your AFH. I wish I had Keith's stamina. I hope all of you see how hard he is working for us the small business with heart. Since time is not a luxtury we have running our AFH's having Senior Life Guides CEO is a blessing he will continue to provide the best and most current marketing available. When you see him give him a pat on the back he desires it. God Bless may you hear the rustling of the leaves now and then.
